A Gloomy Summer Day: OOTD

image imageimage

Not ready to pull out those fall sweaters yet but the weather seems to have turned for the worst?

Well that’s exactly what happened today in Portland, and I felt I wasn’t ready yet to bring out my winter gear. So I found a mild solution!

Still wearing my white converse, I pulled out dark wash jeans, a simple black tank, a light basic scarf and my favorite flannel.  An ideal assemble for a gloomy summer day! It still has that feel of not quiet wearing a full blown fall outfit but still gives you warmth and slight fashion sense of summer (or at least for me it does).

If it seems the weather clears up a little I can always wrap my flannel around my waist to keep cool but if the weather doesn’t permit that I’m still totally comfortable with wearing my flannel.

I mean, one always has to make the best of a situation they have and a gloomy summer day is mine today!

Much love,

Becca
